Married 28 years, 3 adult children, 1 grandchild.

Working at ASU in the department of Entrepreneurship + Innovation as the senior program coordinator for the Verizon Innovative Learning Design Thinking Program. I run a high school program focused on entrepreneurship, design thinking and emerging technology, funded by a grant from the Verizon Foundation. My schools are in NYC, DC, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix, LA and Las Vegas. I am also working on creating and field testing a new program focused on social entrepreneurship.

Prior to that, 10 years as a business teacher, CTE director/administrator, and FBLA advisor. Beyond my work with education at ASU, I am an advocate for ed tech and CTE education (@TechGurlAZ on Twit and Insta) and serve on the AzTEA (Arizona Technology in Education Association) professional learning committee and CTE advisory committees for ADE and several AZ schools. My heart belong to CTE!

I am a certified drone pilot and own a drone imaging company, Sunrise Aerial Imaging, LLC (www.sunriseaerial.com) with my husband. We do drone imaging for real estate, construction, utility inspection, etc. I am an ambassador for Women who Drone and work to get more women into drones and aviation.

What did you enjoy the most about the FFA? What are your best memories?

The people. A sense of family. Everyone fit in at FFA, not just the cowboys. We had jocks, cheerleaders, brains... everyone was welcome.
